Nikolay Nenovsky

Nikolay Nenovsky, Professor of Monetary Theory and International Finance at Université de Picardie Jules Verne (Amiens, France), member of International Centre for Economic Research (Torino) and Monetary Research Center(Sofia). His research activity is focused on issues related to Monetary Theory and International Finance, Monetary History and Monetary Thought, Theory and History of Economic Crises, Banking and Finance, Economics of Transition. In addition to his academic achievements, Dr. Nenovsky has a good expertize in Banking and Finance given his previous positions:

• Deputy Chairman of Supervisory Board of Bulgarian Development Bank (2014)
• Adviser of the Minister of Finance of Bulgaria (2008 – 2009)
• Member of Economic Advisory Council of the President of Bulgaria (2002-2008)
• Bulgarian National Bank, Member of the Board of Governors (2002 – 2008)
• Bulgarian National Bank, Head of Monetary and Financial Analysis Department (1997 – 2002)
• Bulgarian National Bank, Researcher, Research Department (1996 – 1997)
